my dreams were long and dramatic
possibly the reason why i couldn't tear myself away from the bed
doing so i sacrificed friends' wedding and schoolwork
dreams of prayers, ghostly little girls sitting on ledges
weird

a night out in me spanking blue MJ shoes, sent my arches to hell
but i mastered the art of dancing supremely in them
music was cut n dried save for the memory lane indie tracks
